Bhava Caminante

Bhava: is the Sanskrit word for "feeling", "pure emotion", "mood" or "devotional state of mind." "Bhava" denotes the mood of ecstasy and self-surrender and the channelling of emotional energies that is induced by the maturing of devotion to one's Ista deva (object of devotion). Bhava is also the Pali word for "becoming." In bhakti yoga (path of devotion), bhava is neither controlled nor suppressed, but is transformed into devotion and channelled to a higher good. Caminante is Spanish for someone on a journey, a wanderer, or someone walking a path.
This is a blog dedicated to my reflections on the path of connecting with my "pure emotions," and becoming one with a higher intention.

Bhav is also a Hindi word that means, "price," so as I walk this path, I am becoming aware of the old eonomic addage, "there is no such thing as a free lunch." Everythiing (my priviledge, this chai, knowledge, and every choice) has a price to be paid by someone.
